Yndling is the solo project of Norwegian musician Silje Espevik, based in Oslo, who started out as a bedroom producer in 2020 and gained confidence after early interest from a label. She fuses shoegaze, trip-hop and dream pop, drawn to music that lets you 'make a lot of noise and you can be really quiet at the same time,' which suits her soft, whispery vocals. Citing Beach House, Portishead and Massive Attack as touchstones, she has earned real critical notice, including a Line of Best Fit feature titled 'Yndling is reinventing dream pop.' It's Almost Like You're Here appears on her second album, Time Time Time (I'm in the Palm of Your Hand), released in November 2025, the follow-up to her debut album Mood Booster.
